BitTorrent Bleep App Reviews

Great Concept! Nice design

Still testing out features but need proof that there are no back doors maybe switch to open- source as an option if possible.

Needs Password Protection

If you add password protection Ill give it 5 stars, it works perfectly otherwise in my opinion

Awesome App

Very good if you want privacy

Crash-tastic

Great in theory! Crashes non-stop and each post crash relaunch forces you to join again , including verifying phone/email.

Eternally offline

Really want to use this app but both my friend and I show up as offline, and we are not receiving any notification for incoming messages unless we manually open the app. Once this is fixed, i will give it 5 stars. As of now, this is not a viable replacement for other messaging apps

Great design but lots of bugs

Hope you will fix bugs including battery drain, offline status and do something on optimization. Wish you all best to beat other message platforms!

cant import contacts

Maybe its too hard that check your software before release! Cant import contacts so I deleted the app :) good job bleep team !

Error joining service

When I launch the app I get to a screen asking me to type in a nickname. The only other things on the page are links to the terms and conditions and to the privacy policy. When I enter a nickname and tap the Join button on the keyboard, all I get is an error message saying I need to choose a country but theres no place to do that. So I am unable to join the service.

Great but needs work

The messaging and whisper messaging work great and Im so glad to have this App after waiting forever for Hemlis but there are some serious issues with account creation and syncing between devices. Currently Ive found no way to clone your incognito key between the Mac App and the iOS App.

Does not work as advertised!!!

You can still take screenshot even in the whisper mode!! What the hell?

Looking forward to improvements

This really is a beta release on iOS with many UI issues and bugs. However, it has potential. Needs independent auditing to verify claims on security and privacy. Contact bug displays incorrect Avatar and name if invite is sent to a contact that has the same home number as another contact. Adding a contact manually has UI issues with both 3rd party and native keyboards. Still testing.

misleading & suspect

While this app is being described as one designed to protect your privacy, it does so at the expense of the installers reputation and relationships. It asks for *access* to the users address book but uses it as a marketing spam list, rather than as a directory.

Privately

If u look for Privately This app is the goooooood one And useful to use than similar app

Privacy

Nice idea. Great app. Few bugs but I am confident they will get there

Great but one thing

This is great but it always says Im offline and can send offline message. It also take forever to send/receive messages. Fix this and it would be a trending app.

Doesnt work

Cant add. Always offline. Cannot clone account to Mac.

So much potential...

...but it wont allow me to use the PIN or QR code options to add friends, it will spin eternally when trying to invite a new user, it wont connect to people Ive invited. Lots of potential here, but poor execution and zero usability at this point.

In the Morning!

Hopefully this will replace Telegram, which has in house encryption. Time will tell. Amen Fist Bump.

Awesome app...will destroy whatapp

Awesome app. Totally decentralized and amazing privacy.

Messages not delivered

I love the app and more importantly the concept. One issue i am experiencing is that my messages are not getting delivered till the recipient opens up their app and manually check for message.
